I really love how your work enriches the discussions which are possible about our field. I can see great relevance for this in adding to research in AR / VR production as that area develops, since it brings so many assumptions of what people will look at and how they will interpret into question. I wonder if you have come across some broader examples and/or discussion of the consequences of this in our lives, or more specifically, in our screenwriting?
Do you see humankind as evolving beyond the ‘Romantic notions of Western Europe’ in the short or long term?

First, my apologies for missing the live panel. I thought this was a fascinating paper and you make a very strong argument for the need to reassess and potentially redefine some of the core Romantic values given our current understanding of findings from experimental neuroscience.
